The management of Dibco Underground is committed to the health, safety and well-being of its’ employees. It is important for the successful operation of Dibco Underground to prevent occurrences that lead to occupational diseases, injuries and disabilities and our main objective is to maintain the Zero Lost-Time Incident.

Dibco Underground recognizes that all workers have the right to be safe and we must all work in a safe manner, consistent with good construction practices.  We are committed to continuous improvement through our Internal Responsibility System and by implementing effective training, inspection and communication programs.

We understand that our employees’ well-being, productivity and health and safety are all interrelated, and hence, Dibco Underground management is committed to take every precaution reasonable in all circumstances for the protection of all workers. Our philosophy is that no job is so urgent that time cannot be taken to do it properly and safely.

We strive to not only meet the regulations outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, but to surpass them and go beyond. Foremen, supervisors and superintendents are all responsible and accountable for maintaining an effective accident prevention effort within his or her area of responsibility, knowing and enforcing all requirements of the safety program and current local, provincial and federal regulations. Workers are responsible to work safely and to report any incident or a hazard to their supervisor. Everyone from the CEO to new workers has the responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.”
